PROVIDING FAMILY MEALS PROGRAM

NDCDC is proud to partner with Feeding America to help address hunger and food insecurity among families facing hardship. Through this partnership, we support efforts to provide food relief to individuals and households affected by natural disasters, emergencies, and other crises in the communities where we live and work.

When a disaster strikes, families often lose more than homes or property — they also lose access to one of life’s most basic needs: food. Hurricanes, floods, wildfires, and other emergencies can quickly disrupt daily life and make it difficult for families to secure nutritious meals. In these moments, timely food assistance becomes essential.

Through Feeding America’s network of food banks, pantries, and meal programs, NDCDC helps connect families with the support they need during periods of crisis. This may include emergency food distribution, mobile pantry access, and other community-based relief efforts designed to bring immediate help where it is needed most.

Our goal is to respond with compassion and practical support when families are under the greatest pressure. Access to food can provide stability during an otherwise uncertain time, helping households focus on recovery, safety, and rebuilding.

At NDCDC, we believe no one should face hunger alone, especially in the aftermath of a crisis. By working with Feeding America, we aim to support both immediate relief and longer-term food security for families in need. This partnership reflects our commitment to strengthening communities and ensuring that people have access to the nourishment they need to move forward with dignity and hope.
