NO KID HUNGRY PROGRAM
NDCDC is proud to support No Kid Hungry, a national initiative focused on ending child hunger and helping ensure that every child has access to the nutritious meals they need to grow, learn, and thrive. Across the country, millions of children experience food insecurity, and this program helps address that need with urgency, care, and compassion.
Through this initiative, NDCDC supports efforts that connect children and families to reliable food resources through schools, community organizations, and local partners. These efforts may include school meal programs, summer meal initiatives, breakfast and after-school programs, and emergency food assistance.
No child should have to learn, play, or grow while carrying the burden of hunger. Food insecurity affects more than physical health — it can also impact focus, energy, confidence, and overall well-being. When children have dependable access to healthy meals, they are better able to participate in school, stay engaged in daily activities, and develop with greater stability and security.
By supporting No Kid Hungry, NDCDC hopes to help remove barriers to food access and stand alongside children and families facing difficult circumstances. We believe every child deserves the chance to sit down to a healthy meal and move through life with dignity, hope, and the opportunity to thrive.
This partnership reflects our commitment to strengthening communities by helping provide one of the most basic and essential foundations for a brighter future: food for children who need it most.
