MIDNIGHT RUN PROGRAM

NDCDC is proud to partner with Midnight Run of New York, an organization that provides direct relief to people experiencing homelessness in New York City. Through this partnership, volunteers from churches, ministries, synagogues, schools, and civic groups come together to bring food, clothing, and personal care items to individuals living on the streets.

Homelessness remains a serious issue in many urban communities, and for those without shelter, even basic necessities can be out of reach. Many people facing homelessness deal with hunger, exposure to the elements, illness, and social isolation on a daily basis. This program is designed to respond to those realities with practical help and human care.

As part of this outreach, NDCDC helps mobilize volunteers and resources to distribute essential items such as warm clothing, socks, hats, gloves, toiletries, hygiene kits, food, and water. These supplies provide immediate relief and help support health, comfort, and dignity in difficult conditions.

Just as important as the materials themselves is the reminder that people are not forgotten. Through this partnership, volunteers also offer encouragement, compassion, and spiritual support to individuals who are often overlooked. A simple act of kindness can bring comfort, restore hope, and remind someone that they still matter.

Our partnership with Midnight Run reflects NDCDC’s commitment to meeting urgent needs while honoring the dignity of every person we serve. We believe no one should have to face homelessness alone, and we are committed to showing up with care, consistency, and practical support.
